100548 Here's one of mine and I am trying to get it published.

Do Not
Do not haunt me with my sorrows
Do not shelter me with dread
Do not uncover my fears
and leave me for dead.

Do not rid me of love
Do not disguise my escapes
Do not shatter my hopes
for my own life's sake.

Do not darken my path
Do not lure me today
Do not erase my memories
to bestow them away.

Do not eradicate my logic
do not reject my imperfection
do not embark on my endeavors
that morph my reflection.

You will cease to confuse me.
Your game will stop before it begins
because the battle has been over
for I am the one who wins.

Ooh! I like it! I really respect poetry that gets into the writer and makes people think about themselves in a new perspective instead of what others poets write regarding things like...glass.

Writing is a great career! It takes hard work, sure, but don't let anyone get you down and discourage you from fulfilling your passion in life!

100548 Same here. But you never cease to learn something new, like watching a movie for the second time.

Yes. It also makes it a bit unrealistic. Because if the person truly cared for the first one, they wouldn't have fallen for the second.

No, I am pretty good on knowing what I do and do not want. Plus, I've noticed love triangles also make it to where you start to not like the female lead and begin to lose respect for the character BECAUSE of how indecisive they can be.

Huh, the first one I read when I was ten and I thought it was very interesting, which I now find ironic that I can't even finish the second one now.

Yeah, it is very undecisive of them.

100548 I know what you mean, Cookiemonster. But I can really only think of two series that captivated me instantly, sucked me right in, and had it to where the sequels were better than that before them. And whose love stories were not clich'e. Which are Divergent and the Infernal Devices.

100548 I personally do not like love triangles because 80% of the time, the book ends in the way I do not want it to with the main character with the person I didn't wish them to originally be with. I find them quite frustrating.

You?

If I lived in that book, I'd hang with Uriah. Tobias is already taken so... <3 Uriah.
