I have a mission. I donate all my royalties from my Wounded Warrior series to the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund.

WVRF offers direct, emergency financial aid to post 9/11 wounded warriors. 85% of their funds go directly to those men and women in need.

Don't kid yourself. ALL returning veterans are wounded. You may see the wounds and you may not, but trust me, they are there.

I urge all my readers to find ways to help the remarkable young people who are willing to put their lives on the line to protect us.

Maybe the men in her rigidly Mormon family murdered him? (less)

Thank you Dr. Larimore for writing this amazing and wonderful book about your father, Major Phil Larimore, a true hero of WWII. And in real life.

Not only is it true, but it's also nearly unbelievable. Your dad had an angel on his young shoulder.

“I imagine the field day we’d have with this in gender studies class. Our desks in a circle, we’d huddle forward and rant: So this is the baseline of femininity. The place where being bestowed certain chromosomes will ultimately take you. This is the dream that’s been pounded into us. Find the guy. Find the dress. Or hell, maybe the other way around. The Disney Princesses told us so. But this isn’t college. This is my job.”
