Star Trek

[close] A casual book club, for reading Star Trek from any of the published series. We'll be reading one book from a series and one other single-book story together each month. You can of course choose to join in and read one or both or neither, depending on your interest. Discussion for each book will all be in one thread for that book and the topic will be open for discussion when the book is chosen. So anyone can read ahead and start commenting early but we'll all need to be responsible for avoiding spoilers for ourselves (i.e. if you haven't finished a book, enter its discussion thread at your own risk!) The books are chosen by open polling over at the Star Trek Reading Group on Facebook. Feel free to join in over there and contribute to the voting. The polls will end on the 15th and the winning books will be announced on the 16th of the month before we will be reading them. Hopefully that will allow enough time for us to order the books when we need to.

[close] John Carter was never very well known. I never have read the book A Princess of Mars but I loved the movie. You can talk about the actors, story, critical think (nicely), and everything else. We can talk about Star Wars Books. . .etc.
