[close] We will be reading and discussing Shakespeare's plays. We will also read and discuss non-fiction books relating to Shakespeare and fiction books that have Shakespeare as a character. We will be reading two books at a time with new books picked by me every two months. Eventually, if the group gets bigger, books will be picked by vote within the group. We may, in the future, have Google Hangouts for each month's books. I will be looking for co-moderators for this group. For each book I'll try to find some interesting discussion questions. Feel free to add your own. Please use a new topic for each question.

[close] This group is for people who appreciate formal verse, traditional poetry, rhythm and rhyme, alliteration and wordplay - from Chaucer and Shakespeare to Stallings and Gorman, embracing the rigidly formal, the casual, and folk songs, nonsense songs, rock and rap and rollicking spoken word. This group is for people who value the tricks of engagement that make it easy to learn a poem word for word.
