[close] Welcome to the Scandi Book Club! 🌲☕ Our club was created for everyone who is in love with the atmosphere of the North. We read and discuss books by authors from Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. There is a place for everything here: from chilling Nordic Noir and gripping psychological thrillers to cozy contemporary fiction in the spirit of hygge and lagom, sweeping family sagas, and rugged Northern history. (And sometimes, as an exotic exception, we will visit our neighbors in Iceland and Finland to experience their volcanic noir and deep forest magic!) What we do in our community: • Book of the Month: We cooperatively choose and read our main book through our community voting. • Spoiler-Free Discussions: We share honest reviews and thoughts in dedicated discussion threads. • Curated Recommendations: We build helpful bookshelves featuring the best authors of the Scandinavian trio. • Cozy Chats: We chat about all things bookish over a cup of hot tea.
