[close] The World of Remnant is a dangerous place, The Creatures of Grimm, Animal Creatures that lack Souls are a constant threat to those that choose to venture too far from Civilisation, from the safety of the kingdom's walls. Because of these threats, Huntsmen and Huntresses train, fight and dedicate their lives to protect the people of the Kingdom's and push back the darkness that surrounds them. Each kingdom has an Academy, Their sole purpose being to train and educate the next generation of Huntsmen and Huntresses. You are a student of those academies. Today, you begin your new life as one Sworn to protect our kingdoms. I very much respect the other RWBY Roleplay and fan group. [close] Legend states that mankind was born from dust into a hostile world, forced to battle for survival against soulless creatures of darkness known as the Grimm. However, rising up from death and despair instead of backing down in acceptance of a gruesome fate, humanity banded together to push back the Grimm menace and eventually created civilizations throughout the corners of Remnant, often described as the beacons of hope for humanity. From these civilizations, the Huntsman Academies were created to train Huntsmen and Huntresses, warriors whose sole purpose was to combat the Grimm using a combination of powerful weapons, Aura, and Dust. In doing so, they protect those who cannot protect themselves from the dangers of Remnant. The light in the ever-looming darkness that surrounds it.. hiding unknown and dangerous forces that lurk in the shadows. You are the safeguard, the protectors of mankind's future. As such, once you dedicate yourself to the life of a Huntsman or Huntress, you must be willing to live and die defending the four kingdoms in whatever way you possibly can. It is a dangerous and deadly burden that all Hunters must come to bear, but know that you are never alone in your fight. Your team is your family; your sword and your shield. A sacred bond that should never be forsaken. From Beacon, to Haven, to Shade, and Atlas, these academies are where you will prove to humanity that you are the true defenders of hope alongside your fellow Huntsmen and Huntresses. For as long as these academies still stand.. Mankind will not soon meet its last days.
