All you need is an enquiring mind and a desire to gain or share “underground knowledge”. This is also a place to discuss the controversial topics explored in The Underground Knowledge Series (non-fiction books) by James Morcan & Lance Morcan as well as the Underground Knowledge podcast show.

[close] This group serves as a forum for middle school (grades 5-8) teachers to discuss literature options that are appropriate for this age group. Ideally, when giving suggestions, we could cite state or CCSS standards to demonstrate how other teachers could use the texts. Group members should be current or former teachers of grades 5-8. This is NOT exclusive to ELA teachers, and we welcome teachers from other content areas.
