CS boarding school offers a rare fusion of academic rigor and artistic excellence – a powerful combination seldom found at the high school level. At Cape Side, motivated young artists advance their training in creative writing, dance, music, theater, or visual art, while engaging in a challenging college-preparatory curriculum. This integrated approach creates a focused, high-performing culture that prepares students for success as they branch out into some of the best colleges and conservatories in the world.

[close] This group serves as a forum for middle school (grades 5-8) teachers to discuss literature options that are appropriate for this age group. Ideally, when giving suggestions, we could cite state or CCSS standards to demonstrate how other teachers could use the texts. Group members should be current or former teachers of grades 5-8. This is NOT exclusive to ELA teachers, and we welcome teachers from other content areas.

Chances are if you found us, you’re a dancer, singer, composer, musician, actor, painter, or artist in some capacity….or maybe just a friend, follower, stranger, it really doesn’t matter. So much of our lives nowadays is about the hustle, and as us dancers often say, is about getting #booked. I found with spending so much time traveling and working, it can be hard to stay connected to the people in our lives, and those who share the same passions! As many of you would know, it can also be hard to maintain balance, and dedicate time to something other than creative practice. So, this book club is meant to be a place to learn something new, talk books with other bibliophiles, be an affordable way to have an active social life (yes, this counts!), and stay connected to friends near and far.
