[close] An online Book Club where Black folk read and discuss books about our history before it was interrupted by by the TransAtlantic Slave Trade, read books that delve into our double-veil of consciousness, and that shed light on that most perplexing of questions: "Which Way Black America: Integration or Separation; Reparations, the proverbial 40 Acres and a Mule, or Not?" We are going to look at those books and writings that not only us of our history, but that lay bare what was done to us a people: "The half that ain't never been told!" In this Book Club, we will read books that tackle Race, White Supremacy/Racism and that offer ideas as to how we uplift ourselves and our people.

This group is over for all who seek to APPRECIATE black love and the cultural experiences surrounding finding black love. This group is primary for the consumption and discussion African American Romance, but there is a designated space for other genres in African American literature. :) Introduce yourself here.
