Reference New Releases

[close] A discussion around street photography with great books as the reference point. Street photography speaks to the human condition, and every one of us have a different view of what it is, and can be. I'm hoping that every street photographer will, in seeing the work of others, find a refreshing new view for their critical eye. These great books that are historical references, I believe, can make us better at our craft. For me, street photography covers a broad spectrum of photography, that also embraces architectural landscape, photojournalism, and humanist photography. We each envision different styles of street in our own mind. I'm hoping that each of us can offer their own ideas around the subject 'street photography'. Once a small group is established, I'm hoping that we can occasionally review some of these books together.

[close] Can't remember the title of a book you read? Come search our bookshelves and discussion posts. If you don’t find it there, post a description on our UNSOLVED message board. 1. GENRE and PLOT DETAILS are mandatory in the header/ topic title. Do NOT create vague topic headers like "Romance" or "YA Fantasy" or "Looking for this book." Check the Unsolved and Possibly Solved folders. If you've found your book, post a comment to let us know. You can add "Solved" to your topic header and move it to a Solved folder by clicking "edit" on the Desktop website (not app) - or a Moderator will assist. 8. Don't delete your original post with the request. This info may help others looking for the same book. 9. To follow a topic/ thread, click "Notify me when people comment" (Desktop website) or "Topic Notification Settings" (App). Thanks for your help.
