Every month we will focus on a new book in the self-improvement, metaphysical, and spiritual book categories. Will we also be using tools such as the Tarot and journaling to really foster an environment of learning and expansion. There will be a mid way check in with a topic of discussion along with the end of the month review and discussion. Writing prompts and habit building will be encouraged. This group will also have in person meetings for those who are interested and capable of meeting in the Lake County Illinois area where we will have discussions and activities based on the reading.

The comments and discussions of this group should focus on spiritual topics developed in the readings and life readings material, and not medical readings and health issues. Topics for discussion can include concepts of mind, consciousness, creation of the soul and the physical universe, the soul-body interface, and human existence. Other acceptable topics include the relation between the readings and traditional Christianity, the concept of reincarnation, and scientific discoveries as they pertain to cosmology, the mind, and consciousness.

[close] Each month a theme will be set with a suggested book for each age group (adult, young adult, 8-12 years, young children). You do not have to stick to your age group, it's just to provide a little something for everyone. Some months adult themes may be included, there will be a warning given prior if this is the case. If you add a book to the tbr please let a moderator know the key themes, genres and age range that it falls under.
