The Grief Diaries is an online magazine of art and writing about loss, and this group is intended for our community to come together to discuss literature pertaining to grief, loss, and bereavement of all kinds. Selected books will cover topics ranging from loss of a loved one to other, less traditional definitions of grief. It's our hope that this space will allow our community to learn about and share resources, ideas, and testimonies that will contribute to a greater understanding of grief. [close] We are a collection of women joined by a common thread - military life in uniform and out of uniform, having once served or are still serving. We understand the complexities of military relationships and can advocate for or against issues impacting families of those who serve their country. Our opinions are strong, unique and can be controversial, which is why this group is gathered together and can stir curiosity in the literary world. We may not agree and differing view points are healthy and necessary to make this group function and to be of interest to those invited to join.
