[close] Welcome to the Otherspect Storytelling & Discussion Forum! Each person on Earth has a uniquely wonderful and ever-changing window on the world; we all differ in how we look at things. That’s exciting, as it means every one of us has something interesting and valuable—some other per“spect”ive, if you will—to add to this ongoing conversation called existence. In other words, we all have stories to tell. Otherspect is meant to be a forum for exactly that :-) So, welcome! Kick your shoes off, relax, and join in on the storytelling. This is a place for you to tell of your experiences, dreams; a place for stories, anecdotes, experiences. There will be competitions, prizes, casual chit-chat, polls, random silliness, discussions, and more!

[close] A place to discuss all the unique aspects of Deaf culture as highlighted in the thriller Silent Fear (A novel inspired by true crimes) by Lance & James Morcan. This group can also be an intersection of sorts where Deaf and hearing people can engage and learn from each other.

[close] So I've tried to run/join bookclubs on here before, but most of time they fail (whoops), but I still like interacting here on goodreads. So I figured I would make a group that would be a place where we could do just and have discussions about book and music and movies and tv and whatever else you want to talk about. So yeah, here it is. Ta-da! *jazz hands* Also, please excuse the incredibly hipster-y sounding club title, but I so happen to like it

[close] Awesome people who enjoy books, coffee, wine and/or dining. Each month a member will select a book, we will all read it and then meet up over a meal, glass of wine, coffee etc to discuss the book and enjoy each others company. We can also schedule other awesome events to enjoy each other's company and do cool stuff :)
