Interconnectedness

[close] Ethics of Care is about how we can make decisions, political, social, psychological, economic decisions, in a manner which respects life and its individual needs and joys, while honoring the interconnectedness , near and far, between humans and other entities of this Earth. Politics needs better guidelines to supplant the ill placed market values used to organise human and environmental welfare. Here we access and discuss texts formulated specifically around the #EthicsofCare, in order to develop our critical thinking skills and working vocabulary towards understanding and creating a sound debatable language of WELL BEING, not just of survival-welfare. Language and thought serve to describe how we might better organise ourselves, our politicians, policy makers and communities in a way that demonstrates Trustworthiness. Believing in the Now and the Future requires collaboration and trust. Ethics of Care also lies at the base of healing from the Past. Justice finds a welcoming home within the Ethics of Care where every person receives the care and respect needed at home, education, work and politics. Information about conferences and courses will also be posted, in the hopes that some of the group members might eventually meet one another.
