[close] Based of the series: "Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel" 10,000 years ago Dana Talis(refereed to today as Atlantis) sank to the bottom of the ocean, and the Elders left the mortal world, retreating to their various shadowrealms. The problem is...some of them(Dark Elders) want to return, they want to reclaim their lost haven, and enslave humanity. On the other side of this debate, some Elders think it is time for humanity to have its chance, and that the time of the Elders is over. Humanity does not remember any of this, only fragments ans stories of various gods/goddesses, and legends. The Dark Elders have a problem though...their weakness. The metal the humans call steel is like poison to them. So...the must resort to the only tool they have left. Humanity. They offer the gift of Immortality to those who will serve them, and do there bidding...at least until they figure out a way to return themselves to the world.
