This is an advanced roleplay. And not just in the sense that we expect a decent amount of text in a post (within reason, to be discussed later). If you're not serious about creating a story here, working intensively on characters and plot and spending time putting in the leg work to get the story rolling and then to keep that happening, this group is probably not for you. We are in the very beginning stages of our story. If you're interested, answer the challenge question in your request to join. We're a small, close-knit group who has written together a fair bit so if we haven't worked with you before, you will likely receive a trial period where you create a character and take them through Ollivander's. What do I mean by "take them through Ollivander's"? Excellent question. See, here's the thing we're doing: We're focusing on a single class, and they're all starting in year one. You'll first play your character in a scene with Angela (This is a couple generations after the life and times of the Golden Trio, and the shop is now run by a wandmaker named Angela Warnsbury.) where they will get their wand. Then, it's off to the Sorting Hat [we are just reaching this part] and then we're in our first year! We'll spend a short while skipping through the first year and the following two or so, so the characters can age a bit, but so we can also establish relationships between them and their personalities (and also put in the initial seeds of our plot).
