How have they shaped our past and our modern world? We’ll explore how the major religions originated and spread, especially through a critical reading of how their sacred texts and shared beliefs came into being and why they were accepted as essential to the core of those religions. Religion is intertwined with culture and society in the fabric of our nations. This book club is more concerned with an understanding of religious history in the context of culture, society, and nationhood than it is about thinking about theology per se.

[close] About Me: The First Stitch Book Club is a faith-centered reading space for survivors, helpers, and anyone learning how to heal, grow, and walk in truth one page at a time. We begin with God’s Word as our foundation, then read books and resources that help us better understand trauma, abuse, healing, boundaries, faith, courage, and purpose. This is not about rushing anyone’s story or forcing anyone to share before they are ready. This is about learning together, growing together, and remembering that healing can begin with one small stitch of truth. Love is the foundation of this space. As 1 Corinthians 13 reminds us, without love, even the greatest words and works profit nothing. Together — We can! Change Everything!

[close] It's a journey which is going to be alot interesting to question and to go into deeper and deeper of our own self to be conscious of our own every and each activities which We do around and to go into every field deeper and see there beauty to distinguish and what's the plan of this mighty maze . And also to learn from past and present and to discuss confront our views and ask why ? How ? And to realise the joy.!! Of our own being
