[close] The Human Empire has expanded too far into the wilderness, igniting war between them, and the native Beastfolk Tribes. Unbeknownst to most, this is the backdrop to a greater spiritual warfare, not just the clashing of cultures, but of Gods and Spirits. Beyond religious war done by sects in the name of the Holy Ones, the Divines themselves take up arms against one another directly, as well as through their paladins, clerics, hedge-witches, and druids as pawns.

[close] In the beginning, there were three gods: Flora, goddess of the Earth and Mother Nature, Faunus, god of wildlife and guardian of the Solar Flame, and their daughter, Fauna/Luna, goddess of life and Keeper of the Moon. However, Fauna became jealous of their parents' love for their creation, and slowly succumbed to madness. Now known as Lyssa, the Mad Goddess has unleashed a deadly virus that causes predators to become feral, lashing out at prey animals as they had did ages past. The gods now call forth paladins to save their world, and their daughter's soul.
