[close] A group to share resources to expand the abolitionist movement. This group has been created by Abolitionist Futures. Abolitionist Futures is a collaboration of community organisers and activists in Britain and Ireland who are working together to build a future without prisons, police and punishment. We share information and resources to strengthen the network of existing and emerging abolitionist groups and allied organisations. Our aim is to support the flourishing of a diverse, vibrant and powerful abolitionist movement in the Britain and Ireland.

[close] This is the reading club hosted by a group of radical femme called The Red Book Club. Twice a month we will be reading and discussing one book selected by the group, and cultivating this reading space. We created this book club to symbolize red. Red representing physical energy, lust, passion, and desire. It also symbolize action, confidence, and courage. Even throughout history, the color red reminds us of the blood of the workers who died in the struggle against capitalism. It links to the intensity and passion, and fire we all hold within these bodies. As this vibrant color depicts we are creating this space with power and energy. By coming together, we will be sharing our vulnerabilities and fostering a community book club that is steeped in laughter, thought, and liberation. We want all people of all races, abilities, genders, and sexualities to feel welcome. As we grow together we will learn that we are powerful beyond imagine to Read. Resist. Revolt.
