[close] A girl, who is 14 years old, is on a cross-country team for her school and a guy, who is 14 years old, is on the XC team for his school. The guy is in 8th grade. His friends are also on the XC team and in 8th grade. The girl's friends are also on the High School XC team, except for the girl's best friend who is on the middle school xc team. What happens when the girl's best friend realizes that her best friend has a crush on an 8th grade guy? The girl and guy meet at the Castro Valley Invitational, the girl goes to cheer on her younger sister, but the girl does run in the race for High School Freshmen girls. The girl's younger sister is 11 and in 6th grade. The main guy's older sister is 16 and in 11th grade.
