What made these particular births so peculiar, is that before the day that they occurred, none of the women had been pregnant. The eccentric billionaire, Reginald Hargreeves took it upon himself to collect as many of these children as he could; paying graciously for them to unexpecting mothers. Each of these children, as he had presumed, were gifted with extraordinary abilities that he would train them to use. As children, they came together and formed a team of 'super' heroes that helped those in need; but as time passed they left the mansion of Hargreeves one by one and sought out regular lives. 30 years after their births, Sir Reginald Hargreeves has passed away. It is time for his adopted children to re-unite after more than a decade of separation for his funeral; and to resolve the matter of his mysterious death.
