Those years were difficult, and some days felt impossibly heavy but even then, Emily found refuge in words.
Writing became her outlet, her escape, and her way of making sense of a world that didn’t always feel kind. What began as scribbled poems, short stories, and song lyrics became the foundation of the writer she is today. Looking back, Emily can see how those early pages which were written in quiet moments of hurt, hope, and imagination, shaped her voice, her compassion, and her belief in the power of love.
Today, when Emily isn’t crafting stories, she is a devoted mother to her three daughters and a wife to her husband, Shane. Her days are often filled with school runs, extra-curricular activities, cuddles, laughter, and the beautiful chaos of family life. Outside of writing, she finds joy in cooking, experimenting with makeup as a qualified makeup artist, and unwinding with her favourite reality TV shows. Emily and her three daughters, Hana, Avery and Georgi-Rose are also brand reps, often out capturing and editing photos for small businesses and their shared Instagram; a creative adventure they love doing together.
Family remains at the heart of everything Emily does. Their love and support fuel her passion for storytelling and her dream of reaching readers all over the world. She hopes her books inspire others to chase their dreams, believe in their worth, and trust that even after the hardest chapters, a beautiful ending is still possible.
