Creed devoured books as a youth, and discovered a love for creative writing, publishing small fantasy stories on 'writing.com' as a teenager. However, he fell away from the worlds of reading and writing both as he grew older.

One day while snowed in, Creed picked up Magician by Feist on a whim, and consumed it before the snows relented. There began a renewed love for fantasy novels. Years later, unemployed after moving to the other side of the world, he started exploring the world of writing once more.
