Oh my goodness, I am so sad there may not be a ending to the dead series. Maybe she could do it as a Kindle book that way we could get the ending so we her followers that love her books, just could get the ending and the same for you P.C., you could do the same, even though I really hate the Kindle format and really only love real books, I would totally pay for a Kindle book so I had my endings to the series of these books or the continuation of some of these series that I have grown to love that these "Stupid Publishers" refuse to pick up! Ugh, they truly have no idea what your fans love!!!! Just a thought for you, but definitely keep the Kindle thing in mind because it could definitely work to help satisfy us "chomping at the bit" fans LOL
That's a lovely idea except for the fact that without a contract and an advance that means either Kristin or I would be spending 6 months to a year writing for free. It's like you showing up for work for no money and just hoping your employer will pay you after you've done the work. Not a good deal if you support yourself writing...
Well hell, that sucks. Well I can hope that some publisher gets his head out of his ass and figures out what your readers really want instead of what they want, that has always driven me crazy. I guess I have read so many indie writers lately that I didn't realize how it worked for writers who actually worked for publishers and now that I do, I can honestly say that it really and truly sucks the way they have you locked in and it's kind of not fair, but like you say, if you want to make a living and support your family, you have to do what they say. Either way, I will still read what you write because I love both of your books, but damn the publishers for their censoring, ugh!! Well, I will keep my hopes up that maybe one day they will get their heads out of their asses and send my love to both you and your daughter for doing what you have to do, because I totally get it!! Also, here's hoping you are feeling better!!

Oh I get that, it just sucks that they don't let you finish a series sometimes. It leaves us hanging and hoping, but that's not your fault publishers can be heartless. Love both of your works and so happy to hear you are feeling better <3 Stay safe and stay well!!
