Well, I''m thrilled! First time I've received a message from an author, and, second, that this book is being written! I posted our Q&A on Maryse's book blog...hope that's okay. I hope more readers will get to know about this little gem! And about th next book! Thanks Emily.
It’s totally fine! I am still a small potatoes author (is that a saying? I feel like it is, but I’m never sure about these things), so I love hearing from people who have enjoyed reading my little book. It’s even better when they loved it enough to share! I am the WORST baker so this might be the only thing I ever make that’s worth sharing lol!
Nah, not small potatoes...that books was a gem and I'm a very critical reader. To public one book is quite the accomplishment! By the way, Maryse put our Q&A on front page of her blog today (Friday Finds & Reader Recommendations – 04-24-2020) https://www.maryse.net. Check it out. I'll be looking for the next book so I can let people know about it too.
Just re-read Everything Girl. Loved it all over again. Just want to say - with no pressure on you LOL - how much Ben's character popped out. Still hoping he'll have his pwn book. Although it could be that you've moved on to other ideas. Loved Rocket Science book as well! Wonderful writing...keep it going please.
Hi Mony! I have good news and bad news about Ben's story. The good news is that his book is technically done. The bad news is something about his story just doesn't feel right yet. His story was written during lockdown, and I am somewhat concerned it shows lol. I'm still feeling like it could be out into the world early next year though! I will keep you updated, and until then, I will be working on giving Ben and Sloane the story they deserve.
Great news Emily! I appreciate that you will be taking the time you need to get it right! That darn covid!
