This is totally understandable. I feel like Avery's story is heavy?
His story IS very heavy, but in a much, much different way than Gray's. Plus, I've already got (most of) the stories for books 3/4 in my head, and trying to navigate laying the path for that to come down the road... I've actually written a short story for Wynter (of all people) that better explains his relationship, or lack thereof, with Jamie but I'm holding onto it because it would expose a major plot twist that comes in Wilder and Avery's book. So I know where I want this book to go and where I want it to land, but setting everything up without being wordy or boring... I'm working on it!!! (Add in the pandemic in the midst of all this only makes it that much harder, too!)
