It was explained in the book. It's a good excuse to go back and read again. ;) I know I would.. well I have read it twice. 😅
i guess it’s because the archbishop called Lou a serpent (and!! a viper) before the witches attacked, and Reid saw a dove when he married Lou and also when he lost Lou (after the attack of the witches) :D
