Shelby, the ebook editions are relatively inexpensive. You can read on practically any device with a free app. For example, Amazon Kindle app is free and available for iOS and Android.
Shelby, you could also ask for books as birthday or Christmas presents. It's what I do to get my hands on paperbacks, otherwise I can only really afford ebooks.
