This is why, at 77 years of age, I still volunteer-teach music to 150 children in elementary school. I bring in over 10 band and orchestra instruments, play "Twinkle, Twinkle" on them, let each child play trumpet, violin and full drum kit so that they will go home and beg for music lessons--to help them learn all those character-building concepts you so magnificently said!
I've learned more from my failures than successes!
