That was not my impression. Katie figures out Tinker and Eve are there from finding the earring. She thought had no idea where they were before that because they were out of touch. I don’t think Valentine had more than a acquaintance with them ( I think he was older for one thing) . He was one of 4 brothers - Dickey knew the youngest which is why they crashed the party earlier.
