Oh ok lol; I kind of got my answer to my suspicions so thanks. I am very excited. Waiting for the final book of this series!! September 2020!!!!!!!Good job
Rhi is my favorite character in the series; she is stronger than many realize. Since she can create or destroy any realms, it will be really cool if all this time she knew where the dragons were sent and the kings family and kept it a secret from them. I would also love if she had a child from her king all those eons back and kept it a secret; since her magic is so strong, it would make sense. She is the best; it will be a total shock for every one if she had all those secrets.
I don't know if that is such a good idea. It is not only her Dragon King, but Rhi has friends among the Kings namely Rhys. I can imagine very well that he would be pissed if she kept such huge secrets from him. But Melisse might know more than she lets on.
I would like to see that Con's mate (*cough* whoever that might be) gives him back his cuff links and his pocket watch. That would be cute.
Maybe you are right; they might/will get mad about it but it is not like any one of them have ever cared or done anything about how she feels; and her king have never taken in consideration her feeling all those eons; that's the least he deserve on my opinion. She has been there helping them always; but who has been there for her? You know that's just my opinion; she kind of deserve having her own secrets. But whatever happens; it will be great!
And yes, I did though about that as well; I had the same idea. It will be very nice if she got his cuff links and pocket watch back to him as a gift. It got to me how Con said no one has ever given him a gift except for Erith. That's so sad; even his mate; the one he had to let go years back; he is lonely. I feel bad for him
I get what you mean. I get the impression that all the Kings only ever come to her, when they need something, but they never stop by and say "Hey, how are you? Want to go out have some fun or stay at home and watch a movie?". Probably the most "selfish" thing, she has ever done, was turning to Balladyn. And that has been more of a quest for love and affection. That she did it, makes me want to say "Good girl". At least Balladyn wasn't such a bad choice in comparison to Usaeil.
Exactly! totally agree. He might be dark but Balladyn has been the one that has always stood and has always being unconditionally loyal to Rhi; that's true love ( I am really hoping he become a Reapper and find love; he even mentioned once he wanted to be a reapper).
And I was really dissapointed in Con when he became lover to Usaeil. From all people, he had to go to her; the one person he know that caused a lot of Rhi pain. Hopefully, Donna gives him a very good excuse as why he did that on his book. I really like him except for that part when he was with Usaeil; and I also understand him; after all he is the one who has to make the hard decision for the best of the other kings. BUT if he really is Rhi DK, (hopefully) then, at least I want him on his knees begging for forgiveness LOL specially because he took Usaeil as his lover (better have a good excuse for that) Hehe. She should not make it any easy on him.
I hope the next Reaper book is about Balladyn, I will be mad if not. Erith said in one book that he would have made a great reaper.
As for Con: He has to make difficult decisions, even if they are unpopular among the Kings, but Usaeil was a pretty shitty move. That is the one thing where I wish he isn't Rhi's DK. He said he couldn't take just any lover, but I think any other lover would have been better than this.
But Donna Grant is doing a great job in misleading me. There are times I think Rhi's King is Con and other times I think nope it is not him. But then I am wondering who could it be instead? There are not much options left.
Besides Ulrik has a powerful Druid, so Con has a powerful Fae.
Yes, I am totally with you on everything. I think the same thing; I have been reading these books for years. I am glad it is coming close to an end next year; at least this series.
I have discovered these books a year ago and I am hooked. I don't know if I had survived all those years not knowing who Rhi's King is :-) But DG is very productive when it comes to writing, so we get usually two books and a novella per year.
I have read in an other questions, that she doesn't want to reveal Rhi's King before her book. That means we learn from the blurb of her book who it is? I am not a fan of this kind of revelation.
Yes I must confess I am not fun of it either, but I think the reason she has not said anything if because Rhi is Con' mate. And she won't reveal Con's mate until his book. And the answer she gave to the question that started this conversation makes me believe more so; she said that saying if Rhi book was going to be part of this series or not would be an spoiler. And thinking about it makes sense why she would not answer me that question. If she had replied "yes, it will be on this series and then every other book comes out and it is not her story, then everyone will know she is Con's mate for sure if only his book is left.
True, but I think if book 17 is not about Rhi, then everyone will think the same (she is Con's mate).
Donna Grant got the question about Rhi's book before. I was trying to find it, but I don't know where it was answered, probably on the blog of her website. Back then she said "somewhere between book 15 to 18" will be her book. We already have book 16 and it is unlikely that it will be book 17.
But I am curious how Donna Grant is going to solve her/ their story. Much has happened during the time they were apart. We know that Usaeil ended their relationship through Inen. I don't know what Inen told Con, but I cannot imagine him acting on it and start an affair with the Fae Queen. That man is an enigma, most of the time I don't know what is going on in his mind.
But I have to admit the only option for me is that Rhi ends up with her original King. Every other alternative (for example Balladyn) is simply not acceptable, lol.
Other question: do you think it is possible that Usaeil has become a Reaper?
Usaeil is too evil; I don't believe that could have and she did not died betrayed or stabbed on her back. Erith only gets the ones that died because were betrayed, well until now. I don't think that will happen.
And I think Con became Usaeil lover to use her; better having an ally, but he really never cared about her. He just felt pitty when she died
And I think that Erith just took her body so Rhi would not have more blood on her and become totally dark.
I thought Usaeil could become a Reaper because Con kind of betrayed her. In the end of Fever he said that Usaeil just wanted to be loved (okay and the world domination) and he played with her the entire time, he was with her. That could be seen as a betrayel.
I was thinking that Balladyn is in love with Rhi and Usaeil is in love with Con, and if anybody knows of unrequited love then these two. But since Balladyn was betrayed by Usaeil twice, these two together is a horrible choice.
Let's keep Usaeil dead. :-)
