Nothing, because the author didn't care enough to tell us! That's my take on it anyways.
It had to be something - Robert admitted that Amanda was very smart to take care of the burner phone - there had to be some kind of video or threatening texts on the phone - maybe something that would put him in prison?
There were texts from Amanda talking about her husband being a psychopath, (he read those texts) maybe things that would put him in trouble....we will never know the details..
I think that is up for you as the reader to decide! Do you think he abused his wife? Do you think he killed someone else?
