I wasn't even thinking that Penric would ever intersect with Chalion's story. WE live in a global world. But in the world of the five gods, a devastating and reverberating war in Chalion, could easily be a side note in Vilnoc, except for possibly pulling the Roknari away to other concerns. The odd thing for me is realizing again that world changing events and people can pass largely unnoticed in their own time. (?)
I dream of a future where, when Desdemona is finally returned to her god, she is granted the status of a soul instead of being reduced back to chaos.
