What really bedevils me is that nobody who claims to want to "solve" the problem of mass killings, ever seems to be in the least bit interested in why they've started occurring now, when even as early as the 1930's you could buy semiautomatic firearms through the mail without any "Background Check".?
That - the failure to even *ask* that question, much less demand a provable answer to it - is far more dangerous than whatever "implement" is their bugaboo of the moment...
