maybe... but as a reader i want HONESTY about a book, not a shameless plug for something sketchy. and last time i checked, being an author was a choice, right? so why should readers have to pay for a book that is plugged by someone famous when it actually stinks?
who pays for books? i either borrow them from the library or just find them to download fo free somewhere. but lugging home books from the library is tough! i'd rather not carry dead weight... and shitty books are dead weight.

Libraries are awesome. Librarians, current and former, are too.
