Those of us who have dealt with German and Eastern European languages would pronounce it oy-gin, with a hard ‘g’.
as in the cruiser Prinz Eugen which is pronounced that way too
And then there's Till Eulenspiegel (and his merry pranks) as well as the mathematician Euler - both 'oy' sounds.
