Shane Castle Those of us who have dealt with German and Eastern European languages would pronounce it oy-gin, with a hard ‘g’.

Peter as in the cruiser Prinz Eugen which is pronounced that way too

Susan And then there's Till Eulenspiegel (and his merry pranks) as well as the mathematician Euler - both 'oy' sounds.
