Too many good series go beyond what they have plot for. I hate when a good story ends but, it is even worse when it drags out till i stop caring
I know exactly what you mean; was intent on avoiding that particular problem with these books...
Brian McClellan writes a lot of short fiction between his book novels. This could be something both you and your readers could be interested in. More stuff along the lines of The Last Abbot of Ashk'lan, perhaps.
I definitely want to do more stuff with Akiil as a series of shorts. In addition to that, I'd like to write full novels about a few of these characters...
