Tempe Luvs Books It was a shock to me that she did it but if it had been a situation of self defense, she was such a victim of prejudice that no one would have believed her. I’m also shocked that she didn’t destroy the shell necklace rather than bury it.

Laurel In my mind, it was self-defense - not murder. He was never going to leave her alone. He would eventually rape her and/or kill her.

George I see your point about betrayal, and thank you for it. That's not how it feels to me, but I understand how it can to others.

MaryAlice She read one of Amanda Hamilton's poem "never underestimate, the heart, Capable of deeds, THe mind cannot conceive..." it continues how that dictated the path she had chosen.

To me, that she decided she had to get rid of Chase in order to feel safe from future beatings.
