"....... I found it extremely odd that she showered such love....on her husband after stroke.....could show no love while he was whole......" That's because there is so much more to Olive. She had demons and inner thoughts that she found difficult to express. She was outwardly harsh yet a very caring and generous person. I loved her and understood her. No one knows what a person is all about on the inside and everyone just assumed she was horrible. She wasn't. She was full of love and compassion.

Well, my answer to that is a huge percentage of people in the world who are exactly like Olive.... It's reality ...though sometimes difficult to understand or even want to understand. The world is full of ugliness and unhappy people. Reality isn't always pleasant.
