Sounds like Seinfeld. A show about "nothing."
Couldn't agree more. I gave up 80% of the way in. I couldn't even force myself to finish.

I'm about 1/3 through this book and am wondering when/if anything is going to happen. After reading the comments here not sure I even want to finish it. And to think I was so excited to read another book by this author. Very disappointing.
Totally agree with this answer. Don't waste your time...this book is ridiculous and pointless.
There is definitely a storyline in the second half. Takes too long to get there.
Me too. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen.
I agree, it was way too long, 14 hours in audible! The narrator amused me but I too kept waiting for something to happen. Don’t know why but I thought it was going to be a murder mystery!
