National Lampoon had a story where everyone was run over by a bus. Sadly, that’s the first thing I thought of.
The ending eludes back to the prologue. It is intentionally meant to be a massacre of sorts. The lack of closure is reflective of Tommy Orange's experience and the lack of closure natives have experienced throughout US history
