Katy Huh. Sounds like you had a very interesting third grade teacher hahaha. I get Medusa and co. since I was a fan of the Greek myths at that age but the Sicillian Bull seems a bit ...yeah, anyway bravo to you for using it in your book! It definitely makes an impression.

I am glad you ended up taking out most of the "hidden hand of history" stuff and just slyly and subtly kept a few things in there. It makes Father much more mysterious and sinister.

Leslie Gay My mind is officially blown. I have read/re-read Mount Char many times *and* love history (and love horror) and I have NEVER heard of the Brazen Bull/Sicilian Bull! How is this possible? After going down a quick but intense rathole of research I am shocked and tickled at this revelation! Extra gruesome and wonderful continuity for Mount Char in the real world. Thank you!
