Shubham Subhnil Not really. He insists that Men and Women are different in temperament, which they are, and any effort to equalise the outcomes only leads to for diversion, which factually it does. If this is so hard to accept, then I can understand why his views can be seen as patriarchal and all that BS.

message 2: by Dan (new)

Dan Ron please quote the specific part where he said "white men".

It is laughable that someone that preaching an ideology of subversion (you have been subverted mate) is claiming that JBP is subverting traditional sex roles.

JBP says that men and women are different biologically, only a science denier could say otherwise.

As is often the phrase different but equal. Men and women thankfully have different preferences and areas in which they thrive. Men are stronger whereas women are beautiful. Odd how your egalitarian bent will end as soon as people are given the choice and make their choices to do what they prefer and you dont like it.

If women wish to stay at home why should you get a say in it? If men wish to take risks and make millions doing dirty jobs nobody else will do who are you to force a change?
If men wish to risk their lives in war to protect their women and children why are you so hell bent putting women on the front lines? To what end do you want to go to? Shall we go to the logging gulags in which women were ground down and forced to work physical labour that caused many to become sterile?

Its easy to demonize a straw man why not take on his ideas honestly and quote what he actually said instead of living in delusion and tilting at those phantom giants. Call me windmill Don.

Yoana "Men are stronger whereas women are beautiful."

Lol, if this is the level of insight this book operates in, I have no trouble believing Ron's impression of Peterson.

message 4: by Dan (new)

Dan I've got a bridge to sell you its in pittsburg and works GREAT just like all progressive policies.

message 5: by Yoana (new)

Yoana Who said anything about policies? We're talking about men and women. And your profound insight is that men are strong and women are beautiful. I'm going to be kind and assume you're 14. You'll realise life is a tad more complicated than that once you grow up.

message 6: by Dan (new)

Dan Oh I get it now.
You misquote, you assign motive and thought-stoppers (age) to add nothing informative to a discussion.

Ron: Lies about "white men" and the message of domination of woman by men.

Both myself and another commenter attempt to clarify and accurately portray JBPs position.

And you offer nothing to the conversation. Other than benign nonsense. Have a good day, I hope what ever you are attempting to do brings you happiness

▫️Ron S. Dan, you literally stated that the author's bottom line (which you emphatically agree with) is that "men are strong and women are beautiful" - it's incredible that you'd express such a sentiment and find surprise in any push back. Incredible is the wrong word - it's atrocious. Then you paint a dystopian chauvanist worldview where women "want to stay at home" and serve men. I thank you for doing a better job than me of summarizing the kind of cultish madness encouraged by this book and the author's propaganda. You've offered a surprising amount of value to the conversation - and your nonsense is anything but benign.

message 8: by ▫️Ron (new)

▫️Ron S. Furthermore: Please resist any urge to delete the representation you've offered. It's very important that your voice be heard and understood. Peterson, after all, would never thrive if "the quiet part" were spoken - and folks like you do a good job of helping to summarize its meaning.
