As I am trudging through goodreads looking for dark erotica authors that strike my interest... I come across your answer "perfectly okay to masturbate on the job". Aye, Yer The One. Honest and shall we say, passionate about your work. So if you're this passionate about your work... maybe your readers are as well.
I love that you're named Pirate Steve. This is surely a good thing. And most of my stuff isn't super dark. I would say Mercy and Club Mephisto are the darkest. Kitty Thomas is a good dark erotica author, and Pam Godwin I think? Lots more I can't think of off hand. But maybe you'll try some of my books!
