Hi, I respect differing opinions -- having said that I think she stayed in the abusive family out of love and gratitude. Breaking cycles and leaving an abusive family is so brave - and so difficult. Gratitude - Love -- she had that in excess -
I also felt that she has a lot to learn and will need years to process all of this. I was left with a lot of questions about how she truly became the person she presents as now. My review talks about my ambivalence about this book. I found it ultimately a disappointment,
