I totally agree!
I agree, as well. Why is it that one feels that they must like/love the main character and that they need depth. Not all people are insightful and likeable .....
Description? There was precious little. Events? Precious few. Insights? Fortune vs social status. Shallow characters and a tedious plot with some ridiculously unlikely events. So far from the excellence of the Dublin Murder Squad series.
