That is so true about tragedy. Deadly Legacy would never have been completed if not for my mother's death. I had the characters and setting (something that comes easily to me) but the plot was elusive. Then things came out at my mother's funeral (as things do when you connect to people who knew another side of your loved ones) and a plot was born.
