Silentium I agree with Sarah about the point of unfinished storylines especially, Totoyama's story. On second thought, it may be because Totoyama's family is not the main character and the author might think that she had provided enough background for readers to imply the next story.

Silentium About Noa' family, I think its storyline is complete. Since Noa didn't want his family to realize he was Korean, Sunja was not supposed to present herself to them. They were just details in Noa’s life. When Noa died, it is no reason to touch their lives afterwards.

Mandypants The keychain had Noa’s photo in it not Hansu’s. She buried Noa’s photo in Isak’s grave because Noa was cremated and she had nowhere to visit him. Also, she had just heard that while Noa was in Nagano he would visit Isak’s grave on the last Thursday of each month. She wanted the two men to rest peacefully together.
