WTF?! You got me laughing though....
Excuse me, but did anna ever do to you? All she did was write a fan fiction that got published and has movie rights? Whats so bad about that? Honestly it isnt needed to hate on innocent people.
And I shouldn't say what I feel because other people like the book? Lol. I'm not here to accommodate other people or their opinions.
@Yana Klepkes, you go girl, @ Jen, have you ever heard of the saying that if you have nothing nice don't say anything at all, if not then you should really try it, its great advice.
@Jen You shouldn't have to hide your opinion about the book. I think what people are trying to say is that there are better ways to go about sharing it.
I couldn't agree more with you, @Jen. It's an awfully written fanfiction that romanticises abuse and lust, and it's an insult to any writer with a talent who tries to get published but unfortunately doesn't.
@Sophia + @Jen I'm so glad you both agree. I would comment my own feelings about the book, but most of these comments were made back in 2016, and I'm hoping that some of those readers have woken up to what they have read.
I agree, I get the occasional reply on this thread and the other thread I made about this book and sometimes I wonder the same thing. It's been a while and my opinion on it hasn't changed, although I do kind of want to read the actual published version just to confirm my thoughts.
I'll save you the hassle. If the Wattpad version is the 'unedited/drafted' version of the book, then I have no interest in reading it. The published version already gives me a headache and I'm almost finished with the book itself. Honestly, I've tried reading through just so I can find something (ANYTHING) that would make this story so god-damn popular enough to get a publishing deal and a movie deal, and I've come up with nothing. Even when I thought the story was taking a turn for the better, it would just spiral back down into it's hole again. If I'm being quite frank, this story should have never left Wattpad.
omfg i've met my match, i didn't even bother to read this book because its disgusting and a shame she is even published
AFTER IS ONE BOOK THAT SHOWS HOW MUCH A PERSON CAN RECOVER FROM SELF-LOATHING SO NO IT'S NOT TRASH. MAYBE THE MOVIE IS. BUT THE BOOK. NO,HON.
Good on her for being published! But...the relationship between Tessa and Harden is CLEARLY abusive and should not be marketed as romantic. DNFed this book so fast.
Jen I think you're just a jealous hater. It's obviously not trash to over a billion people who read & loved the books & all the people who thought it was good enough to become a movie & then continue making all the movies. & It's hilarious & ironic u even have the audacity to say that when come to find out from a comment of yours below, u haven't even read the published version! So you're talking trash & calling something trash, that u haven't even read! & Until u do, no, u don't get to have an opinion on it cuz you're opinion is irrelevant.
