Kerri Autism is defiantly a mental health issue. It's a matter of brain chemistry and chromosomes, You are born with autism and their is no way to catch it or cure it. It is a mental health issue because it affects your cognitive functions and alters what goes on in your brain. Unlike a illness such as skin cancer which negative impacts your body but has no effect on your brains function.

Diane Madsen Autism is a highly variable neurodevelopmental disorder, not a mental health issue, I am working on my Masters as a ASD specialist and that is incorrect propoganda;-(
