Svetlana Ivanova there's also another version that Athena did that out of pity for her priestess so that no men would dare to defile her again. To me, it seems more of a plausible event as Athena is a goddess of wisdom, isn't she? Would be unwise of her to curse an innocent maiden for something she didn't commit intentionally? I can see that you're not quite a fan of Athena in Circe, but I love how you portrayed her character anyway!
